<\/a>A Stranger Came Ashore<\/a> is a relatively short book, and writing a review means giving away a large portion of the story.<\/p>\n

And so the actual review is shorter than normal.<\/p>\n

A dark and stormy night begins this tale, a shipwreck, a lone survivor a mystery man. Robbie doesn’t trust Finn Learson (the lone survivor) even if his family does. Things only get weirder when Robbie begins to investigate. Finn Learson is not quite what he seems to be.<\/p>\n

The reason I like this book a lot is because of how it draws on folktale or mythology. No, I was not familiar with the stuff in the book until I read it, but it’s actually quite “sweet,” full of that Halloweenish vibe you all should be preparing for now that October is almost on us.<\/p>\n

My only complaint? At some point or other they changed the cover to look like a Harlequin romance novel. Who does that to a good children’s book?<\/p>\n

Anyway, you should get a hold of A Stranger Came Ashore<\/a> and give it a read. It’s quick and you ought to like it. Read now!<\/p>\n
