Well that’s annoying – I fell asleep, came up with a handful of ideas to write about, woke up and have no idea what those great ideas were (I actually was plotting them out in my dream). Oh well.<\/p>\n
Once again, I think I’ve been writing a few too many serious posts lately so…hmm…You have any questions for me? Anything you want me to write about? If yes, post in the comments (if you simply tell me in person or on the phone, I’m likely to ignore you\/it if only because I’ll forget).<\/p>\n
I noticed I’m now at the halfway point of my “30 Days, 30 Posts” and I think it’s beginning to show. Not only am I dreaming about posts now, but I’m getting more into the habit of writing here instead of having to remind myself throughout the day. Words and topics are coming easier, but that’s what I’ve come to expect with any of my writing anyway.<\/p>\n
Oh, perhaps of funny note to you as it is for me – I’ve noticed that I average about ten views per post each week, but when I post on Facebook, I average 50ish. Ha! Now I know why people trying to blog for a living post a link on Facebook every single freakin’ time they write anything on their sites. Don’t worry, I won’t do that – I’m more the sort that only posts their when I think something’s especially well-written and explained.<\/p>\n
Now the downside.<\/p>\n
My story-writing is suffering a little. By experience, that’s not a permanent suffering; any time something enters my life, I find that it tends to push out everything else for a short time while I figure out how to balance the new in with the old (does that make sense?). After the adjustment, my real priorities take the lead again, and that’s what I know will happen with my writing – actually, it’s already shifting back.<\/p>\n
