My New About Me Script

I just realized I don’t have a real about me page. I mean, I’ve got my huge “L-O-N-G, Drawn-out Me,” but I don’t like that. If people wanted my life’s history, they’d go to Wikipedia where they’d find nothing.

Therefore I bring you my actual, better, “about me” page. Shorter, simpler, sweeter – trust me, I thought about sugar while writing that sentence, so it’s super-sweet.

My writing name is T. D. Speirs, but most people know me by their own variation of the name “Tim.”

Ever since at least second grade, I’ve loved the idea of the written word: the creation behind it, the play on words, the stories that can be told. Ever since eighth grade, I’ve known I wanted to be an author.

Aside from a couple of poems, my site and a little bit of research hooha, I’m unpublished as of yet. I hope to change that comparatively soon, and I’m in the process of agent-hunting. As for genre, I write realistic fantasy for children.

Born in Manhattan, Kansas (“the Little Apple”), I’ve recently returned there and currently work at a library. Someday you’ll see my books in there.

There you have it folks. What do you think?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while: if anyone wants to write a post for my site, you’re welcome to do so. If it meets my seal of approval, I’ll post it. And no, I’m not begging for posts; I simply figure it doesn’t hurt to give people that opportunity if they want it.
